Here we go again...

The Retreat Grounds

Lunch with Luis

Supply Table

Today we met Luis Felipe the local coordinator for Santiago's training event. We toured the facility that the event will be held in which is located on the retreat grounds. We had lunch with Luis but he can not speak English and we can not speak Spanish so Karen had lots of translating to do (she sure is good). It looks like this training event will be a bit smaller then Arica, probably around 60 people. Karen, Edu and us met to discuss the program and we made some changes based on feedback from Arica and a request from Luis. I think the changes to the program will work well and the event will flow better.

Then we all headed off to a large supermarket just down the street to buy some "supplies" for a party this evening where we celebrated Carrie's 26th wedding anniversary. Carrie was really missing Brian today so we looked after her well today.

Edu is currently getting a private Alpha Training session from the team, so I should go a join them.

Tomorrow we're going to Cirque du Soleil with Edu.

Take care and please feel free to respond to the blogs because we love to hear what's going on with you back home.

Love
Dennis

Glad to hear and see that you are able to get internet access once again to keep us plugged into your amazing journey and experiences, and yes it feels like we are there with you the way that everything is written with such detail. I think that you all have been blessed with the gift of writing. I am waiting with anticipation to find out what happens next, it is so exciting. This is such a gift from God, technology, bringing two worlds together. What an amazing idea, thank you Ramona for setting it up and thank you to all of you who participate in the blogging. We will have to put this in a scrap book or something.
As for the pictures, they are so amazing and beautiful, thank you. I just love the architecural designs of the buildings. For someone who hasn't travelled outside of this country much, thank you so much for sharing with me more of God's amazing creations.
As for the smaller numbers, just remember what happened here at home with the smaller numbers...the guests feel closer and more intimate. It is in God's hands and in God's time and there isn't any doubt in my mind that amazing things are happening because you are there.
I am in awe and I am so proud to say that I am a witness once again to the miracles that Jesus is doing today through you, the Alpha ministry and most importantly the Holy Spirit.
Have fun tonight and enjoy Cirque du Soleil tomorrow (you deserve it) and I hope everyone is cozy warm tonight.
P.S. I think the reason why there wasn't any noise coming from the Chabot's residence was because everyone is out at their wonderful cottage enjoying summer (finally it has arrived)!
P.S.S. On a more serious note, tomorrow night we are meeting for prayer at St. Joseph's, if there is any specific prayers you would like for us to pray, let us know. Cheryl gave me the prayer box before she left on holidays, therefore, I can write them out and place them in the box if you would like, I will check this site after work tomorrow. I am praying for a Jesus hat! LOL
Hugs! :-) Good night and sleep tight!

  5. Condider the prayers taken care of!!!!!! We will be thinking of you tonight(As we do everyday)but this time we will do it as a group, you should feel the love around 9 p.m. your time.
Edu sound like someone who should come for a visit to Regina, I don't even know him and yet want to give him a hug and thank him, perhaps you could do that for me?
Your time in Chile seems even more amazing than any of us could have imagined. Didn't God pick an amazing place? I just love the location where you are now staying, I hope that it doesn't get too cold. (The jackets)
Have a great time tonight, you certainly deserve it.

  6. Hey there gang - thanks so much for your dedication to keeping us up to date with things! It truly is amazing to hear all that is going on in your lives and the lives that you are touching!

Our God is great - thanks to all the people who have kept you safe while you have been away from us! Happy Anniversary Carrie and Brian - I know it must be hard to be away but I am sure you are going to have a great celebration when you get home - for alot of reasons.

We will keep the prayers coming for sure! The Garchinski's are getting ready for their trip to the black hills beginning tomorrow at 0600h. we are taking the laptop to keep up with you guys but if we are not able to comment often - you know you are still in our prayers and we are in some deep cave having a great family moment!

God Bless - you are doing such great work with the Holy Spririt leading the way. Hi Edu - it sure would be nice to bring you back to Regina so we could meet you and have you part of our Regina Team - we will just have to make you an honorary Regina member for sure!!! :)

You guys rock! Thanks again for the wonderful stories - we are close and hope that your Santiago Alpha training goes as good or better as the Arica one.

Have a good day - Love to you all
    Neil and Lori

  8. As Jacquie said....your prayer's are taken care of, they are committed to God and placed in the prayer box which I will bring to prayer. Thank you very much. If you think of anymore, just let us know!
Until Edu can come and visit us, I agree with Lori and Neil to make Edu an honorary Regina member. I would say to put him in your luggage, however, you may have a problem in Customs and we wouldn't want that! (LOL) Praying all is going well for you today. Check in with you later. God Bless. Hugs! XOXOX
