GAT Prayers - July 2010


1 To protect us from darkness and that we would walk in the Name of Jesus fully armoured with our feet sharing the Gospel of Peace. 2 Timothy 4:1-8

2 That we able to minister to those we encounter and that we would be sensitive to their needs. 2 Timothy 4:1-8

3 That other Chilean leaders will hear the Away Team in there and that they come maybe for one thing but to receive Jesus. Isaiah 40:27-31

4 That the name of Jesus is lifted by Chileans, especially those who are introduced to him for the first time. Isaiah 40:27-31

5 For freshness of Christ to come upon us this day and that it overflows everywhere we go. Isaiah 55:1-11

6 That God give the Away Team wisdom as they pack items to take with them. 1 John 5:1-15

7 That God will fill both the Away Team and the Home Team with excitement and confidence for this journey, placing scriptures on our hearts for this journey. 1 John 3

8 For good health and protection for the Away Team and their families. 1 John 3

9 That God continue to prepare the hearts of the Chilean people the Away Team will encounter over the next few weeks.1 Timothy 2:1-6

10 For the communities that the Away Team is going to be staying with—give thanks and praise to God for these communities to open their doors to them and welcome us. 1 John 5:1-15

11 That God will help each team member work through the final packing and departing details (and that they get some sleep). Psalm 37:5

 **That the joy of the Lord is abounding in the Away Team. For safe travels to the airport and that they depart and arrive on time and safely. That they have NO problems in customs and with luggage. That they may have strength as they go to unknown territories. Psalm 72

12 **That the Away Team and the Home Team build deep spiritual relationships in Jesus as we spend this day in prayer and relaxing in Christ before the Away Team departs to serve with excellence. Psalm 29

13 That the Away Team have no problems with being picked up, with the vehicles in which they will be traveling, the roads on which they will be traveling, and they arrive safely to their Arica destination. Psalm 143:5-10

14 For quick adjustment to the culture and climate and the ability to pick up on the language or communication. Psalm 143:5-10

15 That the Away Team and the Home Team shine brightly for Jesus and are the aroma of Christ to the people we meet. Psalm 143:5-10

16 Praise God for a wonderful week so far and that it continues into the first workshop. Revelation 4

17 &18 That the Away Team serve the leaders and workers with the love of Jesus. Pray that their/our training/teaching lead to salvation and growth in Christ to those listening and will be passing this knowledge onto other Chileans. That God will send people to the training. Open ears and hearts and amazing revelation to all. Colossians 4:2-6

19 That the Away Team is not checking out in their minds (thinking of home) and that they continue on doing God’s Will and showing God’s love. Isaiah 40: 27-31

20 That the Away Team have a special day with anyone they have built relationships with throughout their stay thus far, especially the leaders. Revelation 4

21 For help and strength to make the most of every opportunity. Open their eyes to the work that He wants them to do so they become vessels of God. Philippians 2:13

22 That we’ll encourage and challenge one another in our faith. Ephesians 6:10-18

23 That God direct us in His Word today, and the we can share truth with those in need. May we have the opportunity to declare the Glory of God today. Isaiah 55:1-11

24 & 25 That the Away Team serves the leaders and workers with the love of Jesus. Pray that their/our training/teaching lead to salvation and growth in Christ to those listening and will pass this knowledge onto other Chileans. That God will send people to the training. Open ears and hearts and amazing revelation to all. Colossians 4:2-6

26 For safe travels to the airport and that they depart and arrive on time and safely. Pray that they have NO problems in customs and with luggage or connections to their flight home. Psalm 72

27 That they hold dear in their hearts all the memories of the trip. That they are able to relax and sleep well back home in Regina, knowing they served God valiantly. Proverbs 2:8, 2 Thessalonians 3:16

28 Lord, we thank You for reuniting us with our family and friends. Thank You for our family and friends who love, encourage, support, comfort, and rejoice with us. Luke 1:58

29 God, we give thanks, for You are good; Your love endures forever! Thank You for giving us all that we needed to do good works in Your name.  1 Chronicles 16:34, Ephesians 2:10

30 That God strengthen our desire to continue to be witnesses through the great things He has done with the work done by the whole GAT team before the trip to Chile and with the work done in Chile by Away Team.

31 That the Away Team shares their adventures to the Home Team and others with the excitement that the Holy Spirit has provided them. Acts 1:8
