Wow. 26 days. Less than a month.
The entire team is meeting tonight. It is the last time before the trip that we can all come together to discuss last minute business and have a extended time of prayer. We anticipate an evening filled with high energy and excitement!
The Away team continues to meet once or twice a week to practice and fine tune the talks. Dave is handling our power point slides. What a blessing. He's even tweeking them in Spanish as needed. Gracias senor!
Lord, be a strong presence in our gathering tonight!

...and what a meeting it was. It was so nice to have the attendance we had. Its always extra special when everyone can come together. The Home team presented each of us with a beautiful journal. Lori's kind words brought tears to everyone's eyes. I know I speak for the rest of the Away team when I say, words cannot express our gratitude towards each one of you for all your efforts in making this trip a reality.

ReplyDeleteIt was a great night - as Neil and I left - we looked at each other and said WOW - how did that all happen? Our Lord is good - and even when our faith is sometimes the size of a mustard seed - we know that when we ask in His name - He assures us that He hears and answers our prayers! Away team - we are with you all the way - enjoy the journey and let the Lord guide you where he needs you to go!

To get something you never had, you have to do something you never did. The will of God will never take you where the Grace of God will not protect you.
ReplyDeleteThis prayer was sent to me,and when I read it, it spoke so strongly to me about this adventure that God has taken us on. We are so lucky to be a part of something so BIG for him. When we started on this journey last year, it was almost difficult to see this day. Now we are almost there and what blessings we have all been given. We have become a family! United! We have been given a great gift, this new family!! God has shown us again and again what his plan is for us. WE are doing this in His name and therefore, He has given us the means to do the work that needs to be done.
I am so humbled to be a part of this amazing journey. So take the candle, let your lights shine for the nations to see and know that we are there in Chile with you. You never know what one small spark may accomplish
